Critical Foundations Back in Print

The PCCIP's report, Critical Foundations, is once again available for purchase from the Government Printing Office. (The first run had sold out in March 1998.) As always, the report remains available for downloading from this site in electronic format. (Added May 8th)

A Note About the Availability of Critical Foundations

The Bad News: The first printing of the PCCIP's report, Critical Foundations, which had been available for purchase from the Government Printing Office, sold out in March 1998. The Good News: The GPO will be printing another run of reports. If you have unsuccessfully tried to purchase a copy of Critical Foundations, please be patient. More copies will be available in early May 1998. (Added April 17)

Berdahl Named to Advisory Committee

We have mirrored the March 31st White House announcement of the nomination of Dr. Robert Berdahl to the Advisory Committee. (Added April 17)

Site Update

We've completed a minor updating of our Web site. Some of the most visible changes include the contextually-sensitive navigation bars at the top and bottom of most of the pages. These and other features make conservative use of cascading style sheets (from the CSS-1 specification), so visitors with more recent Web browsers will have a slightly enhanced visual experience. We have also removed some extraneous graphics to make our pages load quicker.

Executive Order 13077

We have added the text of Executive Order 13077 and updated the text of Executive Order 13010 accordingly. We have also added links to formatted Acrobat versions of the executive orders pertaining to the PCCIP. (Added March 17)

The PCCIP's report -- available at this Web site since November 1997 -- is now also available in one file for convenient downloading to your own computer. For more details, please see our Report Page.

This item will be of interest to visitors who would like a hard copy of the report: The Government Printing Office has bound copies of the report for sale. We have posted some information on how you may purchase a copy of the report. (Added January 14th)
