BACKGROUND
In light of the attacks on London’s Underground, the Subcommittee will examine whether the United States, specifically major metropolitan cities with underground transit networks, are prepared to respond to an attack. The Subcommittee will also consider whether federal resources allocated to mass transit authorities are effectively utilized for training, equipment, and preparedness.
