Voice: There are numerous examples of the worldwide effect of rapid global mobility. In theaters where minimal forces are forward deployed, the value of rapid global mobility is maximized, since the key to successful contingency operations is the capability of the U.S. to rapidly deploy forces to aid friendly nations. Although sealift forces also provide mobility and may provide more total lift capacity, air and space forces more rapidly provide what is needed.
