Title: JFACC in Joint Doctrine

Action: Show a organization chart that is headed by the Joint Force Commander, followed by each of the services' component and their forces. Also a joint force commander under each service that reports to te JFC. Provide a rollover that provides the name of each of those joint force commander's acronym:

JFLCC: Joint Force Land Component Commander

JFACC: Joint Force Air Component Commander

JFSOCC: Joint Force Special Operations Component Commander

JFMCC: Joint Force Maritime Component Commander

Voice: The first effective utilization of the JFACC concept occurred in DESERT STORM. During DESERT STORM, the JFC provided the necessary guidance and direction to the JFACC. The JFACC staff planned and executed the air campaign plan and controlled all overland fixed wing assets. In other words, all overland fixed wing assets were tasked on his air tasking order. In spite of the problems associated with any new organization, there was good cooperation among the services and, especially among the allies in the coalition.
